of the Year by the Texas Association of REALTORS® Stephens is licensed as a real estate broker in Texas, license #0209888. He serves as the Governing Person for Stephens Properties (deRaat Stephens Residential Properties, LLC. d/b/a Stephens Properties), TREC License #0551239, URL www.StephensProperties.com. He has also been licensed as a real estate broker in Massachusetts and Georgia. He also serves as the Governing Person for RealtySnap, LLC. (TREC License #0594583) URL www.MyRealtySnap.com, and is an Expert Witness dealing with real estate practices and procedures. He was appointed by the Texas Real Estate Commission for a six-year term to the Texas Real Estate Broker-Lawyer Committee in 1993 and to the Texas Department of Savings and Mortgage Lending’s Mortgage Brokerage Advisory Committee for a three-year term in 2005, then reappointed for another three-years in 2008. George's REALTOR® activities include serving on numerous committees at both the local, state, and national levels. He served as Chairman of the 26,000+ member, Houston Association of REALTORS® ("H.A.R.") in 1998 and Chairman of the nearly 98,000 member Texas Association of REALTORS® ("T.A.R.") in 2003.
